Estate Wedding’s Balinese House Grand Opening

Dining Details could not be more honored to have been added to the very exclusive vendor list of Estate Weddings. We had the opportunity to get some of our summer favorites into the hands and mouths of some of our favorite vendors and coordinators, and to meet a host of new friends! Our set up was bright and summery, showcasing locally grown corn, watermelon, peaches, tomatoes, and more.

THe menu included:

Downtown’s Sky Vue Lofts Broker Event at Smart Corner

Thursday’s Open House event at the Sky Vue Lofts at Smart Corner was at the top of the 20th floor on the rooftop terrace overlooking all of Downtown San Diego. The 19 story highrise lease-to-own property was showcasing a handful of model units and with a little bit of our help. The event drew in a good crowd of about 60 local real estate agents and brokers, ready to roam the property and enjoy some good food and drinks at what we called the “Sky Vue Lounge”. Our Spring-themed signature Martini of the night,  the “Mango Mint Martini” was a hit (thanks to some good shaking and stirring by our favorite bartender Spencer)!

It was a little cold out that day, but it didn’t stop the guests from hanging out on the terrace with eyes wide, waiting to see what was coming off the grill next!

Sapphire Tower, at 1262 Kettner Boulevard, overlooks San Diego with floor-to-ceiling windows showing panoramic views of the Pacific ocean, the waterfront, Downtown, and San Diego Bay. The developers opened the doors on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 to welcome over 250 guests into their exclusive 33 story high rise property for their Red Carpet Grand Opening. Dining Details was fortunate and honored to be chosen as Sapphire Towers’ Chef Service to cater and coordinate this awesome affair.

Guests were greeted on the red carpet with Sapphire signature martinis and champagne, then invited to explore the 17th floor units, where Chef Robbie wined and dined them with passed appetizers, including Hawaiian Style Crab Cakes with Coconut Chili Sauce and Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken Skewers with Apricot Rosemary Glaze.

The Penthouse was rockin’ with a live band and dance floor, lounge effects by Concepts Event Design, and floral decor by Embellishmint Floral Design. The menu upstairs included an array of tapas and artesenal cheeses, passed hors d’oeuvres such as Thyme Crusted Lamp Pops with Cranberry Port Demi and Seared Ahi with Miso Mustard Drizzle and Pickled Cucumber Relish.  A carving station of Burgundy Marinated Tri Tip and sides was available, as well. A delectable spread of mini desserts and coffee bar tempted guests to visit the pool.

Sapphire Tower Open House

The brand new Sapphire Tower on Kettner Blvd. opened its doors for a broker showing on Thursday, November 20, 2008. The open house was hosted in their model home on the 17th floor which made for a fantastic view! We helped them celebrate this exciting opening with a variety of cheese platters and appetizers, and a “Sapphire Tower Signature Martinis” menu that was created especially for the occasion.
