Our Mission

Chickpeas is committed to providing nutritious school lunches of superior quality and balanced organic nourishment to its students, staff, and families. We are extremely selective about the ingredients we use, using as much organic as is available, and 100% natural ALL of the time. We follow guidelines of healthy rotation of ingredients, use absolutely NO artficial ingredients, flavors, or colors, and base our ingredient and menu selections on what will help children develop healthful palates, perform their best in school, learn how to make healthy food choices, strengthen their immune systems, and grow into strong, healthy adults.

Our customers are schools and parents who value nutrition, and realize the connection between eating well and overall health and performance. Our customers are kids who like good tasting food, are active, and want to do their best in school and in life. Our schools are of the highest caliber, and want to show their parents and students that they value their health and well being, as well as their attendance, their test scores, and their ability to think within and outside of the school walls.
